Roger Tolle has a B.A. in Theater/Movement, and spent 15 years as a professional modern dancer developing fluidity, ease, power, clarity, and a wide-ranging vocabulary of movement. Through extensive study with Dr. Milton Trager and other pioneers in the field of movement education, including Judith Aston, Beverly Brown, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Emily Conrad, and Deane Juhan, and through his personal practice of movement meditations, Mr. Tolle developed a thorough working knowledge of function in motion and the interconnected influences of mind and body.

From 1984 to 1999 he developed a full time private practice in the TRAGER® Approach to Movement Education and Body/Mind Integration in New York City. He now lives in Charlottesville, VA, and when not on the road teaching, maintains a private practice there.

Since 1989, he has been teaching around the world for Trager International in both English and German. Classes include introductory through advanced professional levels of the TRAGER® Professional Certification Training Program, a year-long training program in Professional Development Through Personal Transformation, specially designed workshops for massage schools and individual bodyworkers on movement issues in the bodywork practice, and a series of experiential workshops he developed in Movement and Transformation.

In 2003, Mr. Tolle developed and produced three decks of Body ReMinder Playing Cards for Trager International. These popular teaching aids are currently available in English at www.TragerUS.org, and in German at www.Trager.de.

In 2010 he produced a Level I Review DVD for students to use during their fieldwork. Since then he has released Sidelying in Practice, Level II Review, and Level III Review.
